Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa
Currently living on a farm in Southwest Iowa
A little about me...
I've had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. In high school, I enrolled in a photography class at Des Moines Area Community College. Eventually taking nearly all the photography classes offered. As a school elective and a hobby, I needed to focus on my studies and career so the camera landed on the back burner. Fast forward to two years ago, dusting my camera off for good quality photos of my children (my cell phone photos weren't cutting it anymore). I had to relearn and teach myself how to use my camera again. I started exploring my neighborhood and the local countryside; seeing and photographing things that I normally wouldn't notice. I realized then, through my photographs, that Iowa is truly a beautiful place and I am lucky to get to live and experience life in the country. I am continuing to learn new things with my camera and I love sharing my photography journey.
My love for the outdoors, farming, travel, and most importantly family will continue to motivate me to capture beautiful photographs. I hope you enjoy my images and seeing the beauty through my lens!
